Tomatillo Relish

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Tomatillos
  • 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro Leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander

Method:

Remove skin and wash tomatillos. Set aside. Chop onion and bell pepper. Pour oils into a large saucepan. Place the remaining ingredients, except water into a saucepan and cook until tomatillos are soft. Add water and continue to cook for ten minutes. Remove from heat. Please relish into blender and blend into a thick milk shake consistency. Keep warm until ready to use.
